José Ángel González
At just 19 yeas of age, José Ángel González joined Casa María to take charge of the kitchen. A risky but solid bet, due to the enormous qualities of this young cook. Born in Ponferrada, José Ángel arrived at the city of the apostle to fulfill his dream and become a chef. Since late 2010 our kitchen has become the workshop of a flourishing gastronomic creator fully dedicated to a culinary design at the service of quality that sublimates the best produce.
At Casa María we are committed to quality. Therefore, we define our cuisine as market cuisine because the main ingredients we use in the making of our dishes are those in season, the ones we find in the city market. We prepare creatively inspired dishes that are a treat for the eyes and the most demanding palates using the best produce our region has to offer.
